Welcome to the East Midlands Business Watch Initiative

Business Watch NottinghamshireTo help tackle business crime Nottinghamshire Police, working in partnership with other East Midlands Forces, has launched an initiative aimed at reducing business crime and the fear of crime. Our aim is to make the Nottinghamshire one of the most prosperous, crime-free counties in the country by:
  • working with business to help reduce crime and the fear of crime;
  • involving businesses in creating safer communities, both individually and working with estates to form partnerships;
  • improving the police response to business crime;
  • exchanging advice and best practice in order to reduce the opportunity for crime.

    This website is the accumulation of several years work, it is fully integrated with the www.NeighbourhoodAlert.com system and can now provide businesses in Nottinghamshire with an array of tools to enable them to make a difference in the fight against crime.  For the first time a partnership driven system provides direct communication tools, reporting facilities and gives accurate crime data to businesses, it even enables members of a Business Watch to communicate effectively with each other as well as the Police and other agencies.  It is free to join and during its trial launch has impressed businesses across the county.
